Everything is energy. Not only do we use energy for technology but at our core we and everything in this world ARE energy itself. Just ask any scientist and they will tell you (or you can Google it on that smartphone you are holding, that works off, you got it, energy!) the universe itself is all energy vibrating at different speeds and on different frequencies. So when the planets move in all of their magesty it affects us here on earth. Just as the moons gravitational pull moves our oceans tides and the suns energy gives us light and life here on earth, so too do the energies of all the planets in our solar system. We live in a beautiful and magical world of energy, synchronicity and pure organized chaos. With even science now naming a recent finding the “god particle” we would be fools to think that the spiritual (energetic) side of life doesn’t exist.
How we choose to interpret the energies flowing into our atmosphere from above is up to us but the ancients had much wisdom regarding these things and created for us the zodiac, astrology and gave names to the planets and stars as well as aligned them with purposes and healing energies for us humans on earth to turn to along the journey through life. As we know from modern day psychology, the mind will believe whatever we choose to tell it and so why not choose the belief pattern that even the stars in the sky are supporting us here. That we are indeed all connected and that god, the grand organizing designer of it all is weaving the most beautiful story ever told through us and the universe each and every day.
As the sun and the moon dance through the zodiac chart yearly we meet every 30 days a new character who brings us awareness of an aspect within ourselves and an energy that is here to support the healing, growth and ascension within us. These energies penetrate us down into the subconscious mind and bring the things that need to be made conscious into our awareness. For those doing the work consciously, the journey is one of enlightenment, understanding, deep meaning and healing. For those not, life can seem a little more chaotic, like they are being tossed to and fro like a row boat on the stormy sea by life itself. We are all affected by these energies and so following the ebb and flow of them through astrology and the zodiac as only one means, can be helpful to understanding more the human condition and the game of life we are all here to play.
Currently we are in a cosmic rave of energies. The fiery sign of Leo just exited stage left while Virgo the virgin is now taking over the dance floor with her more practical way of doing things. Now is the time to pause and rest before we dance into the new moon energy next week. Virgo comes to help us as the after party clean up crew to Leo’s summer smash. We all had a ball in Leo’s fiery energy and hopefully you allowed for more roar to come through from your soul. Now it is time to rest and reflect on what we are leaving behind and focus on the things that came to the surface for us to now integrate into ourselves and our lives. Virgo ushers us through the aftermath by giving us a big pat on the back, a matcha lattè and the motivation and confidence to know we can do all things if we just believe we can and do the work.
We will stay in this energy with Virgo by our sides until September 22, 2022. Now is the time to get real. To take what we have learned and implement it in practical day to day life. It is no wonder why it is in the sign of Virgo that schools start up again after the wild summer with Leo when we feel supported by the organizational aspects of Virgo. Life always mirrors the energies around us and we are affected by them whether or not we are aware we are or not. So for the next month set your intentions and allow the universal energies in this sign to support you through creating a foundation of grounded clarity of how to move forwards through this season.
Virgo also falls within the shamanic calendar of the harvest and so much as her symbol of the virgin holding a shaft of wheat implies, we too will be reaping the harvest of the seeds we sowed in the spring time. Whatever those were, now is your time to see them come into reality. For most of us we sow seeds of internal intentions such as more love, more patience, more understanding and as mentioned above, we don’t always know what we are sowing within us. So getting intentional, creating more conscious awareness around your place in this cosmic dance is always a way to make the most of your time here. This is how we learn to live as one with the earth and the cosmos. The great mother and father of us all. This is how we learn to live a more soulful life. This is how we resurrect the sacredness of it all.
