I am writing this on the Lions Gate Portal of 8/8. A significant astrological event that both scientists, astrologers and those on the spiritual path acknowledge as a game changer  of cosmic events that affect us and our planet.

I am not going to go into the physical details of the actual even itself as I am not an astrologer but I have studied astrology along my own path and have learned to use it as a support for my healing and doing so has served me well.

So how do we best use the energies at play right now? If you have been on the journey for awhile now you will have begun to understand that everything happens in layers. The experience you had last year on Lions Gate was probably very different than what you are experiencing now. You most likely have more awareness, a deeper understanding and a new  perspective through which you are looking at life through this year and this is exactly how it works. The deeper we go, the deeper we go…

Everyone will experience this energy differently as we are all shedding the layers of our ego’s and our former selves, the emotional and energetic baggage from this life and previous ones. As the ancients used to say, we are clearing the karma, healing ourselves and the planet. This is our souls purpose and a large part of why we are here. It is the cosmic game of life we are all playing and it includes the stars in the sky and the sun and the moon. All of us together dancing through time eternal, creating and destroying as we go. Always looking for more. Always moving ahead.

Lions Gate Portal energy is of a high frequency. Some of the highest of all of the astrological events we experience every year. This energy will help you to raise your own frequency and consciousness allowing in new ways of thinking and being if you allow and believe them to. We all have free will in this world and free reign over our thoughts and belief systems. Check in with yourself regularly to make sure the things you hold true to are serving you. A lot of the time we adopt things along the way that we outgrow yet never really give up on. This creates stagnant energy within us and stagnant energy leads to mental and emotional blockages. Energy work and healings can help with this.

The Lions Gate Energy is asking us to move forwards in the direction of our dreams. Not our goals, but our dreams. So often those two things do not align. We dream of travelling the world, being financially free and doing work that we are passionate about but we pour our energy into jobs that drain us, goals we think will help get us to that next level and the dreams remain just those. Dreams. Saved for another day. Another life. Another time. Held on a shelf in our minds and never let loose to play out in our reality.

This Lions Gate Portal is asking us to forget about the goals and go for the dream. It is helping us to let go of all else, all the old energy, thought patterns, belief systems, relationships, career paths and ego versions of ourselves that no longer serve us. It is helping us to do this by bringing it all up to the forefront of our minds and hearts to have a good hard look at so we can choose to let all that go. Or not. The choice is always up to us.

The universe just presents us with these opportunities over and over again but it is us who makes the choice to follow its lead and trust in the beginnings we are being offered.

You may be feeling physically tired these days, drained, mentally foggy or overwhelmed. This is normal and will pass as the energy clears out the old within you. Just like when you sweep the floors of your home and bring out all the dust and dirt from behind the furniture into the open as you clean, so too does the universe bring up for us all the little things that have been piling up behind the scenes within us for far too long. It is time to sweep them all up and let them go to create an energetically clean slate and home within ourselves to welcome the new.

Ways to support yourself through this portal energy are to sleep when you are tired, eat lighter meals, bathe in salt or fresh water, express whatever emotions are coming up for you, have energy work done, journal, meditate and pray. Seek support and advice from a trusted friend or mentor and be open to receiving guidance from external sources at this time. You are not alone on this journey. The perfect people, places and things will always be given to you to along the way.

This is a time to get very clear on the dreams you hold within you and take them out to play. Get specific with them. Add to them and don’t put them away again for a rainy day. They are your friends and are here to stay. To serve you and others well along your journey. Allow them to support and guide you on the next part of your path. The next chapter in your life is where your dreams come true.
