Resurrecting the Sacredness of Life
All of life is sacred. We are here on this planet in this lifetime for very short period of time. We get to choose how we spend our time here, what we do, who we love and how we choose to understand and navigate our experiences.
There is a lot of choices on this planet and free will always reigns. But often times we end up living out our childhood learning and conditioning and spend our lives repeating patterns of life that we never ours to begin with.
Then, somewhere along the way, a door always opens for us to choose a different path. Sometimes we recognize this opening as a divine invitation to go deeper and sometimes we miss it entirely. It always knocks again on the door of heart and it always will. The loving hand of the universe is always waiting for the invitation to take us to a whole new way of life.
Sometimes the invitation comes through another person, sometimes through trauma or crises and sometimes it wells up from that still, small voice within us all. The voice that only knows one thing. Love. The voice that is always calling us home to ourselves, to our souls.
When we answer the call life will shift immensely. Old patterns, relationships, careers and beliefs will fall away because they no longer resonate with the life being offered to you. You will begin to see the divine in everything and everyone and even the smallest things will become sacred to you.
The sun beaming through the window will catch your eye and remind you of the warmth this world holds for you that you have often forgotten. The way the wind blows through your hair and against your skin will remind you of the winds of change that always support is in moving forwards towards our highest truth. The laughter of a child and the soft touch of a lover will bring about joy and comfort in new ways you were never able to experience before.
The mere act of living will become pleasurable and the things that you barely noticed before will become your deepest desires. Your love and compassion for yourself and for this world will begin to flood through you and there will be days where you will feel you can barely contain it all. You will become a vessel for the divine and your energy will be like a healing balm to the world.
When we choose to answer the call of our hearts the way we live will always change. This change can feel scary and wild. At times you will not understand it and it will overwhelm you while also beckoning you further and further down the path. You will encounter more and more of your divinity while also facing your own darkness, maybe for the first time. This path is never for the weak but it will make strong and give you riches and glory that you have never even imagined.
This is the sacred dance between our minds and souls and it has been going in since time began and will continue so for all of eternity.
